ABOUT
Matt’s Seafood Line, Inc. derived from my passion for local fresh seafood combined with my love for driving. I grew up in Brunswick, GA approximately two blocks from the fishing docks where the shrimp boats landed. During the summers, as a kid, we used to catch blue crabs, shrimp and oysters and enjoy them the same day they were caught. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, I moved to Atlanta, GA during the mid 1980’s. I traveled home to South Georgia once a month with my cooler in tow so that I could return with fresh seafood. During the 1980’s and 90’s, my father took his boat out on the weekends and caught shrimp using a cast net. He kept a separate freezer just for shrimp catch, which I often grabbed several bags. Unable to find fresh local shrimp at a fair price, Matt’s Seafood Line, Inc. was established in an effort to fill that void.
